Heralded as one of the best camping in music festivals in Colorado, if not the country – Sonic Bloom Music Festival is set to kick off in less than a month. Located in the beautiful Spanish Peaks at the Hummingbird Ranch, Sonic Bloom will bring people together from all walks of life to dance, celebrate, take part in activities like yoga and holistic workshops and enjoy a variety of food, drink and other treats. With a lineup featuring Gramatik, Opiuo, Emancipator, and the New Observatory there is no doubt something for everyone – ranging from jam, to funk, to chill and bass-heavy.
In the lead up to the kickoff in June, Sonic Bloom organizers have just come off a successful run of pre-parties scattered all throughout Colorado. May 10th brought us Break Science and Shlump at Cervantes in Denver – a killer show with great vibes. May 16th we were treated to longtime Bassnectar collaborator – Dorfex Bos, as well as Of The Trees who both threw down dirty deep sets all night in Boulder. The next day saw Dorfex back at it again this time with ELCTRX in Fort Collins – showing that Sonic Bloom is covering all bases in the lead up to this year's event.
With a few weeks to go, the festival has also just released their full Yoga lineup including a variety of instructors from around the globe. This just goes to show that they are taking the events and workshops just as seriously as the music.
