Released today through Wakaan is Starman, a series of four tracks from Champagne Drip. This EP comes after work for other labels including Mad Decent and Quality Goods Records and is absolutely worth checking out.
There is a punchy start to the collection via means of “The Sentinel,” which pieces together low hums and a gliding bass line. “Soundboy Dead” comes next as an edgy listen with effective vocals, before a collaboration with Crystalline lands through “Kaleidoscope.”
Closing proceedings is “Satellite” with Len X, which takes almost celestial synth patterns and darting vocals to fuse bass and electronic moments together wonderfully.
