EDMSauce Premiere: Kompany Unleashes ‘Last Man Standing’ with Virus Syndicate
If you’re at all in to dubstep, you’ll be well aware of LA-based producer Kompany. With both artists and fans alike constantly singing his praises, it’s impossible to ignore the fact that Kompany has swiftly become one of the most in-demand musicians in bass music.
This Friday, Kompany unleashes his ‘Metropolis EP’ on Never Say Die Records – a beastly 4-tracker that features some of the most sought after IDs of recent months. As well as ‘Firewall’ – the track SKisM used to opened up his NSD Vol. 6 mix – the EP also packs a feisty punch with ‘Last Man Standing’, featuring Virus Syndicate.

Virus Syndicate’s Crossover Into Dubstep
Virus Syndicate came to this collaboration with roots in grime and UK hip-hop, giving ‘Last Man Standing’ a vocal delivery and cadence that stood apart from the more typical sung or chopped-vocal hooks common in dubstep at the time.
