If you frequent this site, then you are most likely aware of my love affair with the music of Wolfgang Gartner. I attribute much of my love for EDM to the producer and have been deeply influenced by his work for years. Am I a bit biased? Sure. But at any rate – I challenge you to listen to the track below and not be blown away by both the catchy nature of the single as well as the complex production.
Wolfgang Gartner – ‘Deja Vu'
Wolfgang took a brief hiatus from releasing new music the last year or so. The last few months truly mark the return of one of dance music's most creative minds. In his new single ‘Deja Vu' Wolfgang demonstrates that he is back and arguably better than ever.
‘Deja Vu' is absolutely classic Wolfgang Gartner. Whining synths help structure a fantastic melody while a distorted bass line brings a gritty nature to the tune. This one is so wonderfully wonky that I can't stop smiling as I listen to it on repeat.
