Skrillex is about to drop new music – that much we know. But that doesn't mean the man behind the explosion in popularity of dubstep is taking any time off. This year Skrillex has produced countless tracks for artists across all genres, lending his deft hand and unique style to crafting unforgettable beats.
Skrillex's latest production to be released was a single for none other than Mariah Carey. The record is called ‘The Distance' and features rapper Ty Dolla $ign. Overall the track is about as expected but when one listens close it is clear that this one has Skrillex written all over it.
While the tune is a bit more upbeat than most of Skrillex's work, the bouncy and dynamic baseline is clean and inviting. Check out the new single below as we all continue to wait patiently for some original Skrillex material, which will hopefully be dropping by the end of the year.
