Last week Zedd took to Twitter to tease his upcoming official remix for Shawn Mendes' track, ‘Lost In Japan'. While the clip was brief and barely showed even a full chord progression, fans immediately exclaimed their excitement. It seemed that Zedd has once again flawlessly combined his signature accessible electronic style with one of the biggest pop stars of today.
This past weekend, Zedd released the full song, and immediately it took off. The track has already been streamed over 3.5 million times on Spotify alone.
In production, Zedd took his usual approach by incorporating lighter electronic elements which help complement the original track's melody quite nicely. Overall we can already hear this one racking up radio spins across the nations. Check it out below.
