The Snowglobe 2018 Lineup Announced Featuring Eric Prydz, RL Grime, And Several Insane B2B’s

Snowglobe is one of the premier new year eve music festivals in the country. Taking place in the otherworldly setting of South Lake Tahoe in the heart of winter, the festival attracts some of the biggest names in electronic music and fans from all over the country. The festival has time and time again featured some of the most impressive lineups in the world, but this year the NYE festival really outdid themselves.

Jaw Dropping Headliners

While many New Year's Eve festivals have already dropped incredible lineups, Snowglobe has curated an experience that features some unexpected surprises. Not only does the festival feature headliners such as Diplo, Eric Prydz, REZZ, Above & Beyond and RL Grime, but also an undercard full of unexpected B2B's.

Back To Back's That Will Make Your Head Spin

One of the standouts on the lineup is an unexpected B2B with Walker & Royce and Chris Lake. The two artists have been instrumental in the explosion of popularity of Tech House and House over the last two years. NGHTMRE and SLANDER are also coming to South Lake with their massive GUD VIBRATIONS experience as well.

Looking deeper into the lineup we find a crazy B2B between Chet Porter and Manilla Killer. This is a set that some might look over but will undoubtedly be a highlight of the weekend. Both Chet and Manilla Killa are two of the most talented artists when it comes to crafting a set which the crowd will get lost in. Having them play the same stage together will be nothing short of life-altering.

Lastly, we see a B2B between AC Slater and Wax Motif. This will be a set for the ages. AC Slater and his Night Bass imprint has been instrumental in helping push house music far past its accepted limits. Things will get weird at this B2B and if you know what is good for you, you will be in attendance.

Details

Snowglobe is slated to take place from December 29th to the 31st. The final night will include a countdown to 2019. Tickets are on sale, and early bird tickets sold out far before the lineup was ever announced. So with the details of how many major artists will be playing – this festival will sell out quickly.

Tickets can be purchased here. Snowglobe takes place in South Lake Tahoe, so it is best to plan for a festival that will be very cold. While South Lake temperatures can vary widely this time of year, it is smart to plan for temperatures below freezing. Make sure you prepare for long days, standing on the snow, in cold temperatures.

While the cold is a factor with this festival, it routinely provides some of the most impressive moments in all of electronic music each year. Just take a look at a few of our favorite moments from year's past.
