Seven Lions has released the official remixes for his hit song Dreaming, featuring Fiora. Three different takes of the beautiful song really take you on an adventure. Last Heroes, Mazare, and Sunny Lax make up the producers given the green light and all three remixes are out of this world. These remixes show the exact range of what you might see at a Seven Lions show going from Melodic Dubstep to Drum and Bass and on to Trance.
The first take on Dreaming is from Last Heroes. Fans of Seven Lions may have heard of the two phenomenal producers when Last Heroes teamed up with Just a Gent to flip the dynamic Seven Lions track Cusp. The track was so good it has made it into more than a few sets by Seven Lions. This time, however, Last Heroes absolutely crushed this remix by themselves. Keeping the intro focused on the delicate vocals of Fiora, Last Heroes somehow made the track fuller by also focusing on the lower end of the song instead of the highlighted melody. The tempo is a bit slower than the original but the richness of the song fills the space. At the drop, the expansive growls turn the song on its head in pure melodic dubstep bliss.
Mazare follows up with his version of the song and this is just what I needed in my life. Seven Lions + Drum and Bass is something I have not heard since Below Us (feat. Shaz Sparks) (Smooth's DnB Remix) from Seven Lions first EP, Polarized. Once I realized this take on the originally emotional track was a liquid dnb version, I closed my eyes to keep the tears back and let the song carry me away.
Sunny Lax hails from Hungary. Much like fellow countryman Myon who has already done amazing things with Seven Lions, Sunny Lax brings a club-ready banger to the table with his rendition of Dreaming. Thumping kicks set the tone right from the intro. Thick buzzing bass juxtaposed to delicate vocals under layers of amazing synths mix perfectly together in pure Anjunabeats fashion. This is a wonderful dance-inducing trance take on the original.
