Chicago’s up and coming EDM act, Capturez, has been capturing my ears with his incisive ability to cultivate intense dance energy through music. With an ability to perfectly condense emotions into sound waves, his alias definitely rings true. This aptitude for constructing feeling-filled soundscapes is exemplified in his latest two releases, “Akira Complex” and “Demon Hunter.” Both of these tracks have blown me away with their artistry and deft dance vibes.
“Demon Hunter” starts off with a fast-paced bass music feel then evolves into an absolutely epic electronic breakdown that promises to have you feeling hyphy. I’m not kidding when I say it’s one of the dirtiest change ups in a song that I’ve heard in a minute. I look forward to it every time this one comes on.
“Akira Complex” is carriers an up-beat glitched-out atmosphere with lovely highs and Earth shattering lows. Although both tunes are sick, this one is definitely my favorite. You can’t beat that grinding bass and uplifting treble section. Bump it hear and definitely keep your ear on Capturez in the future.
