Elton John, Childish Gambino And More Honor Mac Miller In Their Sets

While the world continues to grieve the loss of Mac Miller who tragically passed away from a drug overdose on Friday, artists have begun to honor the fallen artist during their live shows. The tributes have crossed genre lines and have been quite emotional.

Artists in electronic music, hip-hop and event rock legends alike stopped their sets to honor Mac Miller and the amazing contributions to music which he made. Below you can find some of the most discussed tributes for Mac, but by no means is this list exhaustive.

Elton John

Elton John, who is in recovery himself honored Mac with a short sentiment before performing his iconic hit, ‘Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me' this weekend. The moment was captured by USA Today music reporter Maeve McDermott, who shared it on her Twitter for the world to enjoy.

Childish Gambino

Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, took time out of his performance to speak about the passing of Mac Miller and pay respects in a wonderful tribute.
