Vini Vici Drop "Where The Heart Is" - Out On Their Alteza Label

Globally regarded as one of the most sought-after psytrance acts of the moment, Vini Vici have been taking the world by storm. Armed with a slew of infectious productions, they conquered dance floors, festivals and playlists alike and today, they’ve dropped yet another monster tune: ‘Where The Heart Is’, released on their brand-new Alteza label.

Brimming with psychedelic sound effects and a thumping bassline, ‘Where The Heart Is’ has all the hallmarks of a Psy-Trance staple. Sporting insane amounts of energy and high levels of unmistakable club-destroying potential, this cut is poised for global dance floor domination and will be blowing loads of sound systems to bits in the process. Triplets aplenty in this tune, which will make it a staple in festival sets worldwide.

Boasting a roster that includes the likes of Blastoyz, Off Limits, Phanatic, Sesto Sento, Whitno1se and head honchos Vini Vici themselves, Alteza is a label fit for kings, translating to ‘highness’ or ‘royal’. Created as a means for Vini Vici to discover, release and support new artists and music that Vini Vici like and play, the label represents the Israeli duo’s wide taste in music, showing the more underground part of the staple act.

From Sesto Sento Side Project To Genre Leaders

It’s easy to forget just how quickly Vini Vici took over the psytrance world. Matan Kadosh and Aviram Saharai formed the project back in 2013 as something of a side venture from their main act Sesto Sento, but everything changed in 2016 when they teamed up with trance heavyweight Armin van Buuren and tribal outfit Hilight Tribe for ‘Great Spirit’. That single became an honest-to-god crossover hit, racking up huge streaming numbers and introducing an entirely new, mainstream trance audience to the psytrance sound Vini Vici had been perfecting for years.

That crossover moment is exactly why a label like Alteza matters so much for where they wanted to take things next. Rather than just riding the wave ‘Great Spirit’ created, the duo used their new platform to pull the underground scene they came up in into the spotlight, giving artists like Blastoyz and Phanatic a real shot at wider recognition. ‘Where The Heart Is’ fits that mission perfectly — it’s the kind of triplet-heavy, festival-ready cut that keeps longtime psytrance heads happy while still being accessible enough to convert newcomers who only found the genre through Vini Vici’s bigger crossover singles.
