Madeon and Porter Robinson's collaborative single, ‘Shelter', and tour of the same name was one of the musical highlights of 2016. It was the in-between time that separated the Worlds era of Porter and Virtual Self. It was the time where we saw Madeon mature from boy-wonder to full out dance music superstar. It was a golden era in modern day electronic music. The single released by the duo which gave life to so much more is still hailed as a classic. Now the plot thickens.

Madeon Drops EVIL Edit of Shelter

REZZ seemed to have gotten her hands on an EVIL remix of ‘Shelter' at one point which she played out in her sets. The dark and ominous tone of the song was a far cry from the light and airy original. The harsh unexpected bass section clashed with fans anticipated euphoric release. It was a different song. It was dark, but it was oh so good.

Finally, Madeon has made the evil edit of shelter available to fans all over the world as a free download. You can download the edit here. Take a listen below.
