Whether you're a Zedd fan or simply listen to mainstream radio, you've definitely heard the smash hit “The Middle” featuring the electronic duo Grey and country-pop star, Maren Morris. This track nearly exploded when it was released back in January, climbing all the way to the top of Billboard‘s Dance Mix/Show Airplay charts and hovered in the top 10 of Hot 100 chart too. Morris also became the first country artist to land a number one spot on a Dance chart with this song. Needless to say, “The Middle” was a hit.

The song is a cumulation¬†of Zedd & Grey co-producing and Morris' belting out quite possibly some of the most powerful vocals heard in electronic music currently. And while there's no denying the success of this track, surprisingly¬†it's yet to be performed live with all parties involved…until last night.

Zedd was in the midst of a typical DJ set at Omnia nightclub in Las Vegas when he made an announcement to the crowd.

“I've got a very special guest tonight,” Zedd told the crowd. “We made a song together, but we've never performed it together. So this is the very first time.” Around 2:30 a.m., Morris made a surprise appearance on stage and belted out the lyrics to this golden song. While she made a quick stop, only performing that one song, she took to Instagram later that night to share some behind-the-scenes video of the performance and thank Zedd for having her with him in Vegas.
