Last week, Electro House legend Wolfgang Gartner and genre bending young superstar K?D shared a picture of themselves together on social media and it got the EDM community in a swirl thinking of a possible collab. Well, today that collab officially dropped and it is everything we hoped for and more.
The collab titled ‘Banshee' is reminiscent of the vintage Wolfgang Gartner sound that took over the electro industry, which is a welcoming sound for Gartner fans and K?D fans alike. K?D doesn't seem to fit in one genre, but if this is a sound that he plans to continue in, I'm going to be a huge fan.
Starting off with a groovy vibe that gives me some Justice vibes, it then leads itself into hard hitting gritty electro synths that are perfect. Coming back into the groovy Justice vibe after the 1st drop, it finishes off strong with another electro heavy finish.
I hope this is a sign of future things to come from both Wolfgang & K?D, as a collab EP in this style would be absolutely EPIC.
