Mau5trap artist i_o first made headlines a few weeks ago when a video of him in the studio with Skrillex began to make the rounds. It all started when Mau5trap released i_o's EP ‘ANALOG//DDoS' earlier today. May we also say that this 2 track EP is the kind of techno we need more of and is without a doubt some of the best new music we have heard in 2018. Soon after the release of the EP, i_o seized control of the Mau5trap Twitter account and things g o t w r e c k l e s s .
After answering a few man questions, i_o began ‘leaking' information from the Mau5trap home base. Including what EP's are on the horizon, and even the mention of Rezz‘s follow up album expected to drop in late 2018.

Now he is asking for retweets and threatening to leak tunes or announcements if he hits the desired number. Even when the RT count never hit 200 he still leaked this nasty edit of ‘FML'…

He has even gone so far to play with our emotions, teasing potentially major announcements surrounding some of the biggest Mau5trap artists…

Needless to say that i_o is one of our favorite new Mau5trap signees. Things are already looking up in 2018 for the label as all of the featured artist from Rinzen to Deadmau5 himself are crushing the game. In terms of PR campaigns…this one will go down in history.
