Don Diablo released his third studio album yesterday. While the album's name is ‘FUTURE', many fans were surprised by the lack of Future House productions on the album. The genre helped Don Diablo become a house hold name for dance music fans, and continues to be one of the most accessible genres for many fans who are on the fence with falling in love with EDM.

One fan expressed his concerns that Don was straying away from his signature sound. Of course Don Diablo responded with more grace and humility than many saw coming. ‘FUTURE' does contain a handful of future house songs, but Don obviously played around with his sound and explored new genres. Don explains his reasoning behind the drastic change below.
