Artist of the Week: Romain Good

Hey all! Thanks for tuning into yet another EDMsauce.com Artist of the Week! Today we are bringing you a perennial AOTW here at EDMsauce, Romain Good. Romain Good has just released his newest record, ‘For Real', with the professional hip-hop artist, ‘Illegy'.

Romain Good, self proclaims himself to be the devil's slave, sent to Earth in 1986. He's been described as cunning, crazy, and funny by his peers and found his passion for electronic dance music in 2010. Always a quirky personality, Romain Good had this to say when we asked him about his creative process:

“I always tell people that I have two ghost producers who should be getting all the credit. They just happened to be both of my cats.” – Romain good

His newest record is a perfect representation of his whacky, fun, and energetic personality. The breaks within his tracks are super-danceable, climaxing with powerful drops filled with synths inspired by electro, hard dance, trap, hardstyle, and a bit of dub elements. We asked Romain Good to expand on what made his music original:

“I just wanted to make something fresh. Something that you don't really hear much of these days. I took all of my influences and really meshed them into one record and this is what came out the other end. We are really excited about this track” – Romain Good

Romains earliest influences include Afrojack, Alvin Risk, Blasterjaxx, Chuckie, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, Flux Pavillion, NGHTMRE, and many more. These influences can be heard blaring throughout Romain's riffs and the discography of his work.

We were so excited to host Romain Good yet again for another Artist of the Week series here at EDMsauce.com. We hope you check out Romain Good in the future for more upcoming, high energy music!

Thanks so much for tuning in!
