SVDDEN DEATH Drops Epic Remix of Zomboy’s “Biterz”
Ever since Zomboy dropped his heavy hitting “Rott N’ Roll Pt. 1” EP, we have been patiently waiting for the remixes that are to come of it. The full remix package will be released this Friday on Never Say Die Records, but we are lucky enough to get an early taste of what this EP will be like.
Releasing the first track off the EP is LA-based bass producer, SVDDEN DEATH. This man is currently packing heat in the bass-music scene — playing gigs across the country and working labels Never Say Die, Savage Society Crew, and Buygore.
This remix is one for the books.
SD ditches the original melodic piano intro and transforms it into an eerie synth-heavy introduction to the track. After an intriguing buildup, the song is dropped into a punching riddim drop – exactly what we would expect from SVDDEN DEATH.

The full remix package, Rott N’ Roll Pt. 1: Remixed, did in fact land that Friday, November 14, 2017, on Never Say Die Records, and it turned out to be a stacked lineup of bass music heavy hitters beyond just SVDDEN DEATH. Gent & Jawns also tackled “Biterz,” while Party Thieves and Tre Sera flipped “Young & Dangerous,” Doctor P and Trolley Snatcha each took on “Rotten,” and Eliminate and Habstrakt both reworked “Saints & Sinners.” Seven remixes in total, spread across some of the scene’s most reliable riddim and dubstep names.
The SVDDEN DEATH version specifically went on to become one of the most streamed cuts from the whole remix package, racking up well over a million plays on SoundCloud alone in the years since its release — proof that the eerie synth intro and punishing drop this post called out early were exactly what fans wanted from the collection.
Looking back, this remix was a good early signal of where SVDDEN DEATH’s career was headed. The Never Say Die co-sign here came right as he was building serious momentum in the riddim and bass scene, and tracks like this “Biterz” flip helped set him up as one of the genre’s go-to remixers heading into the following years, right alongside labels like Buygore and Savage Society Crew that were already backing him at the time.
