I really do love our sacred community in dance music. We are full of the weirdest of the weird and the nicest of the nice. Unfortunately dance music encompasses so many different subcultures that we also happened to pick up some of the most dense individuals as well. Case in point let us take a look at the Outlook Festival.
The festival is set beach side in beautiful Croatia and features acts including all time legends like DJ Shadow, and hip-hop greats like Dizzee Rascal. It is clear why the festival is in high demand. Well ‘Outlook' also unfortunately bears the same name as Microsoft Outlook, the by all accounts miserable email management system made by computer giant. Also in a weird twist of fat a subscription to the email service was per annum is identical to that of a festival ticket.
Now while we think most people should be keen enough to realize that they are in fact on a Microsoft website that has no affiliation with the festival before purchasing software instead of a festival ticket, we have again been proven to give to much credit to some of our dance music family. Check out the email correspondence below. The fact she wants a refund from the festival is honestly the best part. Will they do it? No, definitely not.
