Over the past several years Cymatics has helped both aspiring and professional artists all over the world gain a deeper understanding of both sound design and production. The sound design company has taken their investment of up and coming talent one step further lately by holding remix contests in hopes of showcasing standout artists. In their latest competition, held on the company's Academy.FM platform, Cymatics found a wealth of impressive skill in the artist Sad Meal.
Sad Meal's winning remix of ‘Forever' is a masterful demonstration of what a true synthesis of styles should result in. The 25 year old artist based out of the United Kingdom lets his inspirations from artists such as Flume and Porter Robinson shine through as he deftly weaves complex sound design elements throughout. Sad Meal is able to showcase his new signature style all the while keeping the soul of the original track in tact.
