It was been amazing to watch Hardwell got from young up and comer and protege of Tiesto, to full scale international superstar. The Dutch DJ has topped the DJ Mag Top 100 not once, but twice. Today he still remains in the top 5, happily sitting at #4. Hardwell has released several EP's this year so far, each of which containing collaborations with some of his label mates and closest friends. Hardwell added to his lists of accomplishments this past weekend when he became the first ever DJ to perform at a Formula 1 racing event.
The event took place in Mexico City and was sponsored by Heineken. The beer has become synonymous with many things in the dance music world, if you have ever been to an EDC, you know what I am talking about. So it was no surprise that Heineken went with a DJ to be the musical performance at this year's Formula 1 Gran Premio de Mexico. You can watch his full set from the race below.
