Don Diablo Appears To Be Hitting The Studio With Alan Walker
Don Diablo and Alan Walker both had absolutely unbelievable years in 2017. While Don Diablo pushed himself from a small time label mate, to label boss and main stage main stay, Alan Walker became one of the first artists to break one billion views on a single Youtube video. While both also had their ups and downs, Don took a stand and will never again play an Ultra music festival again, and Alan was plagued with ghost production accusations, both artists have entirely come out on top.
Now it seems that the guys met up during ADE and hung out a little bit. It also appears that a collaboration is in the works. That being said, all we have to go off of is this tweet below. But lets be real – it is pretty self explanatory.
Who wants a Diablo x Walker collab!? 🙊 #Hexagonians #Walkers #Unite pic.twitter.com/hUAVBWq41x

Did The Collab Ever Actually Happen?
Good question, and the honest answer is: not really, at least not in the way this tweet teased. DJ Mag picked up on the same studio tease back in 2017, and a Diablo x Walker collab has lived on as one of those “maybe someday” projects that fans kept asking about for years afterward. No official Don Diablo x Alan Walker single ever came out of that ADE hangout.
Interestingly, the idea never fully died either. Years later, Alan Walker was still teasing the possibility of a collaboration with Diablo on social media, which tells you fans never stopped asking and the two artists never fully closed the door on it. Both guys have obviously stayed busy in the meantime, Don Diablo kept building out his Hexagon label into one of dance music’s most recognizable brands, while Alan Walker kept racking up billions of streams and expanding “Walkers” into one of the biggest fan communities in EDM.
So if you’re still holding out hope for that Diablo x Walker record, you’re not alone. It’s one of the more persistent “will they, won’t they” stories in the genre, and based on how long it’s already dragged on, nobody would be shocked if it eventually shows up out of nowhere.
