The DJ Mag Top 100 2017 Results are starting to pour in. After a controversial year we are excited to see who makes the legendary list. While the DJ Mag Top 100 2017 results, do mean a bit less than they have in years past – the list still represents a true accomplishment in the dance music industry. The list is essentially a popularity contest that is held worldwide, and in years past it has been an excellent indicator of what the world stage believes is the most renowned artist.
DJ Mag Top 100 2017 Results: Past Issues
In 2015 many fans were incredibly angry with the duo of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike taking the top spot. This is because many people believed they did not deserve it. The Dutch artists were soliciting votes at several big name music festivals, using the infamous iPad girls. Order was restored the following year with Martin Garrix taking the top spot. But now we all anxiously await the DJ Mag Top 100 2017 Results.
Many fans are also constantly torn up with the fact that the poll only really does measure popularity and is more focused on production rather than technical skill. This has also been a stressing point for critics of the poll. Still though after almost 3 decades, DJ Mag Top 100 poll is one of the biggest honors in all of EDM
DJ Mag Top 100 2017 Results: Predictions and Possible Leaks
So far there have been many predictions and possible leaks when it comes to the DJ Mag Top 100 2017 Results. In almost all cases though wunderkind Martin Garrix maintains he spot at the top. It will be interesting to see who rises through the ranks. Our personal favorites for surprise power moves this year are Don Diablo and KSHMR who both could easily upset many big name artists by sliding into top 10 positions.
