Kygo Releases His Euphoric And Emotion Filled New Single: Listen Here
Kygo has been hard at work in 2017. The superstar artist really took advantage of opportunities this year to launch his status from EDM hero, to mainstream Billboard charting artist. Monster collaborations with Ellie Goulding and Selena Gomez helped Kygo become a name in the minds of teenagers all over the world.
In his latest release, called ‘Kids In Love’, Kygo continues to demonstrate why his success seems so natural. The lyrics of the track speak about how someone can move on from a love that they think will be the one they stay with forever. That’s not a combination of names you’d expect to see on a Kygo credit sheet, and it says a lot about how far his reach has grown as a songwriter and producer that a rock legend like Townshend is now in the room helping shape his sound.
Between “It Ain’t Me” with Selena Gomez, “First Time” with Ellie Goulding, and now “Kids In Love,” Kygo has quietly put together one of the most well-rounded years of any dance artist in 2017. He’s proven he can deliver a full pop radio smash and then turn right around and land something as tender and personal as this one. If the rest of the album follows that same emotional throughline, it’s shaping up to be one of the more interesting tropical house releases of the year.
