Getter has been making headlines pretty consistently the last few months, but not for his signature dubstep productions. The producer put down the computer recently and picked up a mic. When many first heard that Getter was going to drop a rap track, they all laughed. Then it actually dropped, and it was actually incredibly good. ‘Solo' is one of the producer's first bass tracks to drop since he announced his Terror Reid side project, and man it shows us that we really so miss the old Getter.
‘Solo' is a reckless track that combines so much of what we love in bass music right now. Deep guttural growls accompany high chiming notes and create a juxtaposition that will make the listener beg for more. This track is good, and on a day where a ton of damn good music has been released, we are happy to see that Getter has no problem reminding the public that he can still make dubstep just as good as he can hit a freestyle.
