Major Lazer has so much of it's routes deeply steeped in the Caribbean and Hispanic culture. It has borrowed a traditional sound and continually supported up and coming artists who share this heritage. Now that Miami has fully recovered from the insanity that was Hurricane Irma, the trio has chosen to hold a benefit concert at the Mana Wynwood tonight which will fully support the American territory of Puerto Rico.
The island was devastated by Hurricane Maria a few weeks ago and is still struggling to recover from the storm due to widespread infrastructure break down. The show will go tonight from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. eastern time and features a line up including Tory Lanez, Machel Montano, and Bad Bunny. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to benefit Puerto Rico. Tickets are still available here. If you are unable to attend you can donate to Puerto Rico here.
