Steve Angello Drops A Dark Tech Styled EP Which Might Be His Most Impressive Release Yet

Steve Angello has been focusing on himself very intently this year. Since departing Swedish House Mafia the artist focused intently on his record label and helping up and coming artists break onto the scene. Then Coachella 2017 happened and Steve debuted a powerful new sound. He continues to explore his new choice of style in his EP ‘Inferno'.

‘Inferno' consists of just two tracks, ‘Freedom‘ featuring Pusha T, and ‘I Know'. Both songs are bass heavy tech influenced deeper cuts. This new style is reminiscent of Daft Punk‘s productions for the Tron Legacy soundtrack. One might even find that Rezz comes to mind as they listen through the tracks. ‘Freedom' is a steady and grinding tracks which holds a beautiful amount of tension. ‘I Know' on the other is the deeper more bass oriented track of the EP.

This is not the Steve Angello that your older sibling or parents know. This is new, dark and powerful Steve Angello that we are coming to love more and more with each subsequent release.
