‘Champion Sound' is the latest brazen single from Protocol Records boss Nicky Romero. For this high energy anthem, he has tapped Teamworx as a collaborator. The results are a bit mixed. While the first drop is excellent. It is cleanly produced and absolutely wild in execution. That being said when the song drops again after the second build, things get a bit weird.
The second drop of ‘Champion Sound' has an inexplicable whine to it. There is really no reason to include this and while it definitely is supposed to serve as an added element of tension, it ends up being annoying. If that one element was left out this song would score much higher.
