Listen To Electric Zoo 2017 Live Sets From Tchami, Illenium, Eric Prydz B2B Deadmau5 And MORE!

Electric Zoo has just wrapped up. The festival was full of surprises. From Destructo announcing that he was in fact now running the festival, to a legendary B2B from Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz, Electric Zoo was a massive success. With the festival only ending hours ago right now, we have scoured the web to find some of the best sets from this past weekend. This Illenium set in particular was a once in a life time type of experience.
This year’s edition, subtitled “The 6th Boro,” brought over 100,000 fans out to Randall’s Island Park over Labor Day weekend. The Destructo news was a genuine bombshell in the scene — Gary Richards confirmed on Twitter that he was now involved in running the festival through LiveStyle, the company that emerged from the wreckage of SFX Entertainment, following his own very public split from the HARD brand he built his name on. Pairing that announcement with a rare, extended back-to-back set from two of dance music’s biggest headliners made this one of the more memorable Electric Zoo weekends in recent memory.
While so far we have only found a handful of sets, we expect to find many more in the coming days. So while we search, you kick back and enjoy some incredible sets from the likes of Ghastly, Prydz B2B Mau5, Tchami, Illenium, Crankdat, Tritonal and Audien. It’s a lineup that shows off just how wide Electric Zoo’s sonic net has always been, running from Tchami’s bass-heavy future house to Tritonal’s melodic, trance-leaning progressive house, with Illenium’s emotional, guitar-tinged bass sound right in the middle. 2017 was really the year Illenium broke out as a headliner-level draw in his own right, and hearing that momentum live on Randall’s Island makes it obvious why that Illenium set stuck out to us.

Made Event has run Electric Zoo on Randall’s Island since the festival’s earliest days, so seeing an outside name like Destructo step into a leadership role through LiveStyle felt like a real turning point for where the festival could go next. Combine that with a deadmau5-Prydz B2B that fans are still talking about, and this year’s Electric Zoo gave the scene plenty to dig through in the days that followed — which is exactly what we’re doing right now with all these uploads.
