KSHMR is arguably the best producer and DJ in the world right now. His hits consistently are played out at main stages all over the world, and his productions always land in the top 100 of the Beatport overall charts. KSHMR is no doubt going to make a top 10 spot on this year's DJ Mag Top 100 poll. Just last year he ranked #12 and things have only improved from there.
While many (including ourselves) have poked a lot of fun at the DJ Mag poll, KSHMR had a pretty interesting response when asked about the annual fan voted competition. The most surprising thing? KSHMR was overall positive. It seems like a trend now to denounce the poll, as it is a glorified popularity competition. While KSHMR acknowledged this he also was quick to note how humbling it is to see his fans push him ever higher in the rankings.
We have to admit that the top 100 has fallen out of good favor in the past few years due to a lot of voting fraud. An example of this is Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike spamming attendees at Tomorrowland with women holding iPads. Still KSHMR was able to pull every singe positive aspect the poll still carries.
