Rick & Morty season 3 premiered on April fools day this year. It was so unbelievable that we ran an article about it and still nobody thought it was legitimate. We would never write a cruel joke like that people. Well the first episode of season centered around Rick trying his best to get a taste of a discontinued McDonald's nugget sauce that was made for the Disney movie Mulan in the late 90's.
The Szechuan Sauce literally took over the internet. Almost in an aggressive manner after that. McDonald's was pretty cool though and donated a full bottle to Dan Harmon, one of the creators of the show. Dan auctioned off the sauce for the proceeds to go to charity. The first winner of the auction did not pay up. The winner of the second chance auction never contacted Harmon either! Robert Workman (@TheDCD on Twitter) eventually ended up with the sauce. He DMed Joel and for an undisclosed amount Deadmau5 became an owner of the sauce. Check out the picture below.
