Pasquale Rotella Addresses EDC Las Vegas’ Biggest Problem and Richards Leaving HARD

Pasquale Rotella took to Instagram live today to address an absolute myriad of topics. While we were not able to catch the live stream of Rotella giving the scoop on tons of EDC developments we were able to find a full summary from EDM Tunes. Who gave a full report on what was covered in the live stream.

EDC Las Vegas Announcements and Improvements On The Way

Rotella mentioned that some major announcements concerning EDC Las Vegas were coming in about two weeks time. This is some exciting News after a ton of rumors have been brewing since the festival concluded in June. This even included a possible future venue change to the new NFL Las Vegas stadium. Pasquale did mention that the transportation problem that has plagued EDC Las Vegas since it's move to the speedway.

The one road leading from Las Vegas to the Speedway has left EDC with a major traffic jam both coming to and leaving from the festival. We hope that some sort of logistics can be worked out to improve this. Pasquale did mention in his broadcast that EDC WILL NOT be expanding into a two weekend event. He also noted that EDC will always be a dance music festival and will not start bringing hip hop acts to the main stage.

Rotella Addresses Richards Leaving HARD

Pasquale Rotella did make mention the recent events around Gary Richards deciding to leave HARD events to begin working with LiveStyle. The main take away was that Insomniac had owned HARD for the last several years but allowed it to operate as it's own entity, up until this year when Richard's contract ran out. Stayed tuned for more developments on what the announcements will be regarding the festival in two weeks time.
