This has me the most fired up I've been in awhile. This is what we live for as Music fans. Louis The Child, Thank you. I NEVER give out 5 stars. Never. Put it this way (trying to say this as politically correct as possible… If you rate an individual of the opposite sex a “10”, then what happens if you identify another individual of the opposite sex that is more of a “10”? Don't come at me with that “11” bull, it doesn't work like that. But this, this is just pure, so its a 4.5. I just can't do a 5, I cant.

Before you go on an listen, I am not saying this is a compilation of mainstream track. It is however a compilation of “rad”. A lot of this is extremely unique and brings a completely different element to the industry that we very seldom see. You always hear about “Oh yeah, he has hundreds and hundreds of unreleased, unfinished stuff and a lot of it no one will probably ever hear”. Then there is this. A mix of unreleased music that may have not been released otherwise. I would love to pick Robby and Freddy's brain on what they were looking to accomplish with this (if anything) because in my mind, this is pure “for the fan-ish” that no one does.

On the Youtube Video post, the description reads:

“This is the video companion to our Candy beat tape. The music is a collection of ideas and songs we've made over the past few years, and the video was all captured on tour this past year.”

You look at this type of thing and realize, hey, a lot of people might not listen to this. But, our fans will and hear this and appreciate the fruits of our labor and know that hey, we're thinking of y'all. This mix is straight feels, the groove is non-stop. I wrote an article the other day about a Mark Johns track and said I was adding that to my “late-night” mix. Well, I just deleted that “late-night” mix and now have this as the sole proprietor to my late night vibes. This 25 minute playlist of unfinished/unreleased business is whats it's all about.

The only thing that aggravates me is that I am going to be running around Moonrise Festival in Baltimore next weekend like a crazy person trying to catch as much Louis the Child and RL Grime as possible as they have overlapping set times… I'm not complaining, but, I'm complaining.
