KSHMR has just released one of the most powerful, brilliant EPs we have ever heard here at EDM Sauce. Materia is a 4 track extended play which travels to every corner of the dance music. We have heard the first two tracks off the album as singles. ‘Kolkata' and ‘Festival of The Lights' dropped in the past weeks and earned perfect ratings from us. The two unheard tracks of the new release are even better than we expected.
The collaboration with Snails, ‘The Serpent', made us nervous upon announcement. Snails and KSHMR have two very different styles of production and we were not sure how they would blend. Of course, the resulting track was absolutely perfect. It is by far the stand out track of the EP.
‘Divination' is the one song which we were a bit underwhelmed by. The collaboration with No Mondays has Indian music infused but the drop is not the most original. That being said while the song isn't perfect, it is still very strong. Take a listen to all four tracks from KSHMR's first full EP off his new label, Dharma.
