Martin Garrix Unleashes An Incredible Tomorrowland Set Full Of New ID’s: Listen
Martin Garrix just delivered an absolutely electric second set at Tomorrowland. Technically it is the wunderkind’s third set over the two weekends of Tomorrowland as during weekend one her performed a debut set as his alter ego, Ytram as well as under his best known Martin Garrix moniker. This weekend’s set turned up the heat a considerable amount though. Martin through down one of the best sets we have seen all festival long and it was full of IDs.
Throughout the below set you will hear brand spanking new collaborations with artists like Loopers, Brooks and even David Guetta. In addition to collaborations and new singles, you will also hear an incredible mix of styles and genres. Martin Garrix made a strong case this year at Tomorrowland why his domination as the world’s #1 DJ should continue. Listen to it in full below.

Where These IDs Ended Up
The Loopers collab heard in this set turned out to be ‘Game Over,’ which Garrix officially released the following spring, on April 20, 2018, through his own label Stmpd Rcrds. It’s actually cited as one of his most in-demand Tomorrowland IDs from that era.
The David Guetta moment is the wilder story of the two. Guetta joined Garrix live on the Tomorrowland mainstage that very day, July 30, 2017, to premiere what eventually became ‘So Far Away’ — and the version everyone heard live that day actually featured Ellie Goulding on vocals. By the time the studio version finally dropped that December, Goulding’s vocals had been scrapped entirely. She said on Twitter that her label and management were unhappy Garrix had played the song at Tomorrowland before she’d even heard the final mix, and that friction ended up costing her the feature. Jamie Scott and Romy Dya ended up on the officially released version instead.
As for the Brooks collaboration mentioned in this set, we couldn’t track down a confirmed official release tied specifically back to this Tomorrowland weekend, so we’ll leave that particular ID a mystery for now rather than guess.
