Deadmau5 uploaded a short clip onto Instagram today with the caption, “First time mixing for film 🙂 so much fun!” and fans went absolutely wild. Immediately people were trying to guess which film the mixing was for. Claims got outrageous fast, but one fan on Twitter has a promising theory.
User @Zoel_jimmermann claims a sample from Deadmau5's animated Meowingtons based film can be heard at the end of the clip. Reddit seems to be backing up this claim. Still we have no way of being sure. All we know 100% is that a Deadmau5 scored film would be a dream come true. This could be the biggest News in the EDM/Film crossover sector of the industry since Daft Punk announced the scoring and mixing for Tron: Legacy. Check out the clup below.
