Kayzo Has The Perfect Clapback Petty A Petty Twitter Troll
Kayzo is probably the hottest new artist of 2017. We are just over half way through the year but I have a solid feeling we will be naming bass musics hottest rising star as the best new artist of the year come December. Of course with massive success also comes some petty haters. Kayzo encounter one today on Twitter. Soon the two exchanged some words and things got downright hateful.
I'm not going to get in a twitter war with some fuckboy midget DJ who's clearly very insecure about himself. Dude's going nowhere

It is almost comical that this guy would even try to say something against someone who has played some of the world’s biggest stages. We are sure there is a fair amount of envy in this guys mind. Well Kayzo’s response?
when ur a fuckboy midget dj going nowhere in life 😩😩😩 pic.twitter.com/gVZTpdeLFo

Yeah…that’s what we thought.
Kayzo Kept Building From Here
This little Twitter spat was just a blip in what turned into a genuinely huge run for Kayzo. He’d already built a name for himself blending hardcore and metal influences into bass music, a sound that stood out from a lot of the trap-heavy bass scene at the time, and that willingness to sound different from everyone else is exactly what made trolls like this one so easy to laugh off. Rising artists dealing with random online hate isn’t unique to Kayzo, but the confident, unbothered way he handled it here is a big part of what fans have always liked about him.
Not Afraid To Clap Back
Kayzo’s quick-witted response here fits a broader pattern you see with a lot of artists who came up through the more DIY, forum-and-Twitter-native side of dance music, they tend to engage with fans and trolls alike directly instead of hiding behind a PR team. That kind of unfiltered online presence helped Kayzo build a genuinely loyal following early in his career, the same fans who’d go on to pack out his sets as his profile kept growing well beyond this random Twitter exchange.
