It was with a heavy heart today that we found out that Lincoln Park's front man and lead singer Chester Bennington took his own life. It seems like just yesterday we heard news of the passing of Chris Cornell, with that wound still fresh we have been dealt another huge blow to the music community. Chester Bennington helped pioneer the rock/rap hybrid genre and even dabbled in electronic music, as he had a collaboration with Martin Garrix on the way.
His influence was far reaching and his memory will be held in the highest esteem. An outpouring of support, memories and love has come from the dance music community as a whole since the news of Chester Bennington's passing. Our thoughts, love and prayers are all with Chester's friends and family over the next difficult days, weeks, months and years. While he may no longer be with us physically the impact he made on music will live on forever.
In the end, it really matters. You will be missed. RIP Chester Bennington pic.twitter.com/wnjQDrlKvY
