The Chainsmokers dropped their debut LP a few months ago. It received a critically mixed response but hit the top of the charts in several countries. There was no doubt that The Chainsmokers made a serious statement with their debut album. We expected the guys to focus on their world tour and get some rest after an enormous first half of the year. It seems like they have still found some time to produce, even while on a seriously insane tour schedule.
Drew Taggart, half of The Chainsmokers did a little Q&A with fans today on Twitter and revealed that the duo is still planning to drop some new music before the end of the year. Big ups to The Chainsmokers for never resting and continually giving fans what they want – more new music to grace their ears.
