Today I’m stoked to say we have the pleasure of premiering a track by an artist who has been entrancing my ears ever since I heard his remix of Talisco’s “Stay” this past month. Since then, the musician, VXL, has been filling my chill-out playlists with his deft ability for blending sounds within the indie-electronic arena in his own unique style.
The artist’s most recent endeavor is a synesthetic EP entitled Cæruleum. Fitting to its title, each track is given the name, and sounds, of a color. The most recent taste we’ve received of the piece is a tune called “Burgundy.” Rolling vapor-wavey sound design and warm vocals cultivate the atmosphere of deep red expertly. If that weren’t enough, the track comes with a mesmerizing audio-video that promises to captivate both your eyes and ears on this sense-bending journey.
We’re immensely excited to hear the rest of the EP dropping later this summer. However, for now his singles “Burgundy” and “Cæruleum” are more than enough to tide us over. Check out his most recent track here and enjoy!
