When I mention names like 3lau and Audien most people would agree that the genre which comes to mind is progressive house or electro. Well the two have teamed up to produce the entirely unexpected ‘Hot Water' and it honestly their experiment has worked out pretty well.

3LAU and Audien Break The Mold

‘Hot Water' features silky smooth vocals by Victoria Zaro. The vocals to the track take the tune from ordinary to impressive without a doubt. Initially as the track first dropped into a distortion ridden, heavily filtered DnB style break I cringed. I was worried that they went in over their heads, that the experiment would not pay off. Lucky for me, and for you, I was entirely wrong.

‘Hot Water' delivers the unexpected in a successful manner. The tune does not sound like a cheap gimmick, and both artist's incredible production abilities shine through. While we have heard this style done a bit more impressively, there is not much to complain about when it comes to ‘Hot Water'. Check it out below.
