Pasquale Rotella Addresses Security Concerns At EDC Las Vegas

As EDC Las Vegas approaches rapidly there is an unfortunate elephant in the room. In the wake of the Manchester attacks that took place at an Ariana Grande concert, ISIS released propaganda targeting sin city. This is not an uncommon occurrence for Las Vegas. It is commonly used in terrorist propaganda, but with EDC week starting in just a few days, tensions are high.

Pasquale Rotella Talks Security

Pasquale Rotella addressed the concerns of EDC patrons today on Facebook. He explains that if anyone sees anything out of the ordinary they need to tell someone immediately. He urged the public to be proactive if they feel any threats to their safety. He also explains that there will be an incredible trained security staff made up of both law enforcement officers and security teams. Finally he mentions that fans should be ready to show their wrist bans at multiple points throughout the festival.

We know Insomniac has gone above and beyond expectations when it comes fan safety in the past. It seems like they are taking no chances this year in Las Vegas. Most of all, we cannot let fear rule our lives. We must be vigilant, but also continue to celebrate what makes our community so very special. You can read Rotella's full statement below.
