Last Fall, I was introduced to Antra and his track “Down”. After listening to “Down”, I was greatly impressed. Antra is a Los Angeles producer who specializes in throwback R&B/Hip Hop remixes, and adding samples from similar throwbacks to his tracks. Now he's back with a remix of one of my favorite Nelly songs, “Dilemma”. This remix takes a borderline Future Bass direction with heavy basslines that gently blanket the synths. Fans of the original will appreciate that the vocals of both Nelly and Kelly Rowland remain mostly intact (the remix features only the chorus and first verse).
In the end, Antra's “Dilemma” remix is a great take on a great throwback. The track is available now as a free download!
