Stream Coachella 2017: Watch One of the Last Ever Madeon & Porter Shelter Live Shows NOW

This one is going to be emotional no doubt. This is one of the last Shelter Live tours of all time. The last show will be taking place next weekend. The duo have toured the world and blown crowds away with their incredible talents. Live remixes, new releases and an unmatched visual display – Shelter Live has it all.
That being said this is Coachella. If we had to guess Madeon and Porter Robinson are going to go all out for one of the largest crowds they have played in front of. Do we dare say the duo could hit us with some unreleased collaborations in honor of their final shows? We can only hope.

For a little context on just how big a deal this is: the Shelter Live Tour was built around Madeon and Porter Robinson’s 2016 collaboration “Shelter,” a track – and accompanying anime-style short film – that became one of the most beloved crossover moments in the scene. Rather than just performing the song together once and moving on, the two friends turned it into a full-blown joint live show, splitting a set that wove both of their solo catalogs together with shared visuals and live edits you couldn’t get anywhere else. For a lot of fans, catching a Shelter Live date was less about seeing two headliners on one bill and more about watching a genuine friendship play out on stage.
This Coachella stream captures the tour’s penultimate stop, with the true final Shelter Live show landing the following weekend – April 23, 2017, back at the same Empire Polo Club grounds for Coachella’s second weekend. That makes this Weekend One set essentially a dry run for the send-off, and by all accounts the duo left absolutely nothing in the tank. Whether or not any surprise unreleased material showed up, the sheer novelty of watching two of the genre’s most technically gifted performers share a stage for what was billed as one of the last times ever made this a stream worth clearing your schedule for.
If you weren’t lucky enough to catch Shelter Live in person, this is about as close as it gets to being there – so hit play above and see what all the hype was about.
