Damon Albarn has been a busy man these past couple of years. Obviously the new Gorillaz album ‘Humanz' is proof of that. The massive LP is one of the most awaited albums of the decade. Today though we learn that ‘Humanz' is truly just the beginning of the work Albarn has been up to.
In an interview with Zane Lowe of BBC Radio1 Albarn announces that he has been in an incredible creative space. Zane eventually asks, “now how many songs do you reckon you have that didn't make it on the record?” to which Albarn responds “I'd say 40-45”. He also explains that is enough to keep him going for another 18 Months…look this is a gigantic deal. It means that the next Gorillaz album after ‘Humanz' is already on the horizon. Get ready people.
