Conro has come a long way in this past year from collaborating with Headhunterz to releasing a single on Monstercat. This time Conro is handling the official remix duties for ‘Scared To Be Lonely’. Conro is known for his cascading synths and top notch production of Future Bass and he definitely brings his skills to the table for this remix. From a Trailer in British Columbia to Future Bass’s Rising Ranks
Conro, born Conor Patton in Saskatchewan and based out of Kelowna, British Columbia, took an unconventional road to electronic music, working odd jobs including a stint as a security guard and living in a trailer before his production career took off. He debuted back in 2012 with “Axiom” on Kindergarten Records, and it was his 2015 collaboration with Dyro, “Bittersweet,” released through Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, that first pushed him toward wider recognition in the future bass and electro house space.
Monstercat Becomes Conro’s Long-Term Home
By the time this “Scared To Be Lonely” remix arrived, Conro had already begun building the relationship with Monstercat that would become the defining partnership of his career, eventually releasing tracks like “Therapy,” which racked up more than 31 million Spotify streams, through the label. Being trusted with official remix duties on a Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa single of this size was a clear signal of how much momentum Conro had built in a short time, cascading synths and all, on his way to becoming one of Monstercat’s most reliable future bass hitmakers.
