Lido Blesses Fans With 2nd Installment of RnB Project

There are few artists who can reach their musical talent across multiple genres, and even fewer who can reach their skills and influence over genre lines that stem outside of electronic music. It's one thing to hear a dubstep producer make a trap song, or a house producer to make a future bass song, but how often is it that electronic producers find their way into genres like hip-hop, rock, or RnB. While there are few, there is one that stands above all others when it comes to this style of diversification, and his name is Lido. The Norwegian producer has produced music in so many styles we find it hard to keep track. His projects have found their way into hip-hop, RnB, and under his alias Trippy Turtle he has made a huge splash in the jersey club scene as well. No matter what style he finds his way into, it seems pretty hard to not love the music he puts out. Filled with emotion, passion, and compositional skills that mirror that of a classical Composer, Lido has made a name for himself that will live on for decades.

A few days ago, Lido released his 2nd installment in a collaborative project with RnB singer Santell. Through the first EP and now this 2nd the two have made eight songs total combining intense and sometimes very suggestive vocals with Lido's powerful production. Our favorite piece off the project has got to be the anthem “Recruit” that is jam packed with undertones that would make a nun faint, but honestly we can't get enough of the vocals. All the tracks have a noticeably clean production typical to Lido's style and the final song on the piece “Mariah/Say You Scared” actually continues the story from one of the songs on first EP entitled “Ashley”. The refreshing electronic sounds of Lido's style come from a completely original idea that the producer has found a way to work into our culture and we are eagerly sitting on the edge of our seats to see what he comes up with next. Take a listen below and enjoy the sensual sounds of one of EDM's most impactful voices right now.
