Having to spend previous times at Dirtybird BBQ in New York City this past summer. This was the chance for the people of Miami to show how the Miami Birds party. The birds in Miami, FL voted and was granted their wishes – the next Dirtybird BBQ was held in Miami. It was one of the hottest parties during Art Basel Week was held at Smash
Canvas located in the heart of Wynwood Miami. Day and into the night the party was filled with beautiful people, good vibes, great food, incredible art, and of course the talent.
Produced by Dirtybird and MeanRed and sponsored by Mixmag, Eventbrite, Smirnoff Sound Collective and JOOX Music. Void Acoustics and AIS provided sound and lighting for entertainment. Everyone that was a part of it went above and beyond making it a true Dirtybird BBQ, setting the mood perfectly. In wonderful harmony, we were all eating delicious BBQ we wanted and along with dancing the night away amongst us techno birds. Speaking of techno, it wouldn’t be a real Dirtybird BBQ without the talented artists from the iconic label. Including ClaudeVonStroke, J.Phlip, Kill Frenzy, Christian Martin, Walker & Royce, and special guest Justin Martin. Personal favorite sets were J.Phlip, ClaudeVonStroke, and Justin Martin, each DJ played incredible sets giving off their vibes to their Miami bird fans. Having to be able to meet the entire Dirtybird team, and getting to know the whole family was the best part of it all.
Compared to previous Dirtybird BBQs it was different but still fun as usual. There’s a reason why it’s known as one of the best parties in America. It was the best party during Art Basel Week. It brought a huge crowd, as well as great vibes throughout the entire night. Hope to see Dirtybird in the Sunshine state, until next time.
