Deadmau5 Confesses He Is Unhappy With W:/2016ALBUM/

Deadmau5 is a legend…. in many ways. He was a huge contributor to the rise of dance music. He found Skrillex. He also likes to put people on blast on twitter. Which in turn gets covered as News, so one could say he is also the ultimate twitter troll. Most recently, the Canadian producer took to twitter to put the record W:/2016ALBUM/ on blast….. oh wait… that's HIS record!

Deadmau5 expressed his feelings on his new album and it is not what any of us would expected.

“I don't even like it. It was like… so fucking rushed / slapped together.”

We live in a day in age where things happen so fast. Musicians and other artist have to keep up with this high demand for content, but it can sometimes come with a decrease in the quality of the content. Ironically those same consumers that beg for a constant flow of material also cry for high quality everything. It's an endless cycle that can leave the artist frustrated with the product that they end up putting out into the marketplace. It seems that this constant race against the clock has finally caught up to even the greatest artists.

W:/2016ALBUM/

It's tough to see any artist disappointed with their product, but it is a change of pace to see the Deadmau5 twitter heat on his own tunes. It shows he's a human and as he said himself it's a little bit of Deadmau5 being Deadmau5.

You can stream some of the album W:/2016ALBUM/ HERE and grab a copy of your own HERE. Make the call for yourself. Does it seem rushed to you? Sounds like Deadmau5 to me.
