An artist who has been blowing up like none other in the past few months is Brooklyn’s Memoryy. Recently, he has remixed his way to the highest echelons of internet charts, as well as enamored audiences with his own, original synth pop stylings. If that weren’t enough, this guy even composes for TV shows; his work can be found in the opening credits to Netflix’s Chelsea Handler show.
His latest work is a remix of Tanis’ track, “Blackout” off her recent Blackout EP. Here, Memoryy masterfully transforms Tanis’ sweet singing into a guide that takes us through addictive electronic elements. A sublime synth melody and empowering percussion drive throughout the soundscape making for a track that’s sure to stick in your head all day. Check it out here and enjoy!
